As a motorcyclist and racer from an early age, I know — just as you do — how wonderfully magical motorcycles and motorcycle culture can be. The sport has brought me and my family great joy over the years, and I suspect it’s treated you and yours to the same sort of happiness and excitement. Being inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame recently was perhaps the ultimate joy for me, and I was thrilled to be surrounded by family and friends when it happened during the AMA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in October of 2022. As I said at the podium, ‘I’ve been chasing my whole life. Now I can stop chasing. I’m an AMA Hall of Famer!’ It truly was a career-defining moment for me.

All of this, of course, explains why I’m big supporter of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame on the AMA campus in Pickerington, Ohio. I’ve come to realize over the years, and especially after my induction, that the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame’s mission to preserve and promote the heritage of American motorcycling is alive, and well, and important. But you have to wonder what would motorcycling be like to future generations if our greatest racers and visionaries were lost to history? What if their achievements were forgotten? Would tomorrow’s riders chase their motorcycling dreams if they had no one to inspire them?

That’s not something I’d like to chance, and I feel pretty certain you’re in the same boat, so here’s my question: Will you please make a financial contribution to the Hall of Fame?
